Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how 7 MOUNTAINS US LLC ("MTS Log", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website, request a freight quote, register as a shipper or carrier, or communicate with us about freight services. This policy applies to the public site at https://mtslog.com and the freight services we provide.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, company name, business e-mail address, phone number, equipment needs, lanes or regions of interest, and estimated monthly volume. When you provide a phone number, we may use it to contact you about freight quotes, bookings and other operational matters, including by SMS text message where you have opted in. We may also collect basic technical data needed to operate the site, such as how pages are accessed.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to freight quote requests, provide shipper and carrier registration and support, operate our freight brokerage services, coordinate bookings, dispatch, pickup, tracking and delivery, and send you operational updates about your freight. We may use service providers to help operate these services, and we take steps to protect the information we hold.
SMS / mobile messaging
Where you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages, we may send SMS messages related to operational freight communications, including freight quotes, bookings, dispatch, pickup, tracking, delivery and support. These messages are operational and relate to the services you have requested or are using.
By consenting to receive SMS, you agree to the following:
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, we will stop sending you text messages, subject to any legally required notices.
- You can get help by replying HELP, and we will provide information about the program.
- Providing consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Phone numbers and other mobile information you provide for SMS are used only for the operational purposes described in this policy. Mobile information, mobile numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers strictly to deliver the messages and operate our services on our behalf.
SMS consent is collected only through an optional, unchecked checkbox on our public forms: the freight quote form, the shipper sign-up and carrier sign-up pages, and the shipper and carrier pre-registration forms. Consent is never required to request a quote, sign up or use our services, and we never assume consent from a phone number provided for other purposes. We do not use SMS for marketing or promotional messages, and we do not send third-party or affiliate marketing messages. See our Terms of Service for the full SMS program terms.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our services, with freight carriers as needed to provide the transportation you request, or as required by law, regulation or legal process. We may also share information in connection with a merger, acquisition or similar transaction.
